Rimmel London | Nail Polish

Hello all!

Here is a little collection of my Rimmel London nail polishes.

Rimmel London I <3 Lasting Finish | 030 Double Decker Red

This is a classic red colour, that lasts and lasts! I somtimes find that with red colours or bright bold colors that can fade slightly or when applied, go streaky. But, this one is amazing!

Rimmel London Cocktail Colour In A Flash | 140 Hawaiian Punch

This is a lovely bright red/pinky coral colour with very fine gold glitter through it. When applied this turns into a bright glittery pinky red but the glitter isn't two chunky for it to be used as an accent finger colour, I use this as a normal nail colour, a good one for NYE! ;)

Rimmel London 60 Seconds | 844 Out Of The Blue

This is a gorgeous dark teal blue colour, that as the name suggests drys fast in this case, 60 seconds!

Rimmel London Precious Stones | 001 Diamond Dust

This is a very glittery sliver/black colour. Packed full of glitter and sparkle! This one screams glamour! The glitter is very high coverage so you don't need to pit layers of this on to get a maximum glitter effect.

The Body Shop | Coconut Body Butter

Normally I'm not a big fan of coconut scented items, but I really like this. It's almost got a vinilla element to the scent which is why I can work with the scent. The consistency of the body butter is think, it doesn't move when it is in the tub. Although, that being said, when you apply this to the skin, it melts beautifuly into the skin and feels quite think in consistency.

Overall, a very good quality body butter that absorbs into the skin fast, doesn't leave a sticky residue, makes skin feel soft and appear glowing and smells good!

Lush | Sweetest Thing Gift Box | What's inside?

Much like the name suggests the Sweetest Thing gift box contains items from Lush that smell so so sweet and yummy! Being a big lover of Lush and sweet things I was delighted when I opened up this lovely little box!

So what's inside?

Pink Fun 100g

I've has my eye on the "funs" for a while they really do look fun! This one is a pretty pale pink colour and of course smells and candy and strawberries and everything sweet! I can't wait use this!

Bubblegum Lip Scrub 25g

This little gem was much needed! My lips are very dry and cracked and could do with so,e much needed TLC. The colour is gorgeous, a lovely bright pink and of course, this smells like bubblegum. But a really sugary sweet bubblegum. The granuals don't look to chunky either so it looks like it won't rub my lips sore but will give some exfoliation.

Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly 100g

I love how Lush invent thier own little soaps and make them so fun and enjoyable to use. Their Shower Jellies being no exemption to fun. This is essentially normal shower gel/soap but in the form of a wobbly jelly that looks and smells good enough to eat!

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas and has a happy and healthy new year!

MUA Haul!!

Hello all, here's little mini MUA haul. All of these items I've wanted to try for a while now so when I saw them in store, I grabbed them!

Colour Blast Eyeshadow Tint | A Girl Like Me | Bring It Back

After looking at both good and bad reviews of these, I still wanted to give them a go. On first impressions that are like a crayon, in the way its packaged and in somewhat the formulation of the shadow. Fingers crossed these look good!

MUA £1 Lipstick (ft. new shades!) | Shade 13 | Persian Rose | Petal

Shade 13 is a classical red. I need more red lippies in my collection and this is a classic. Perisan Rose is a true bright Barrie pink and Petal is a everyday, dusty pink colour (both new shades to the £1 range).

Superdrug Deep Action | Mini product reviews

The deep action skin care rang is a Superdrug own brand. What I really love about gees products is there they're curtly free! So they don't test on animals. I am very impressed with this brand they do give you a deep clean but without over drying the skin. Which is something that is rare when using spot fighting products.

Deep Action 2-in1 Detoxifying Cream Wash and Mask

I really like using face washes that can double up as a mask. I feel like it must be extra cleansing and powerful for it to be a mask as well and it is! From the first use my skin looked so clean, pure and soft to the touch. Before long my blemishes and marks where disappearing fast.

Deep Action Pore-Cleansing Nose Strips

Thos is the first time I've used nose strips. I was starting to get clogged pores and I felt like the skin on my nose wasn't cleaning well it felt strange. So I put one of the strips on and immediately I felt like a cool sensation, I left it on for 10 minuets and like magic my nose was clean and smooth.

Pure Cucumber eye Roll on | First Impressions

To look at the Pure packaging and branding reminds me of Garnier. This eye roll on has a little metal ball at the end of the applicator thAt you smooth over your under eyes. The metal ball is supposed to calm and unclog sleepy eyes. whilst the caffeine gives your skin a little wake up call and the cumber calms and soothes the under eye area. Altogether banishing under eye bags and puffiness.

Plus, it was a POUND (go check Savers out!).

Seventeen Haul | ft. Limited Edition Items

For a while now Ive been wanting to try the Seventeen On The Spot Foundaton. As it claims to be a full coverage foundation and with the added benefit of Salicylic Acid it is supposed to give you clearer looking skin within four weeks, needless to say im excited to try this!

On first impressions the coverge is much like the Seventeen Stay Time Foundation, one of my "holy grail" fiundatins, it suits my skin colour, has very high coverage and lasts all day long. The only differance wih the on the spot foudation it that the texture is lighter (still full  coverage) and has spot fighting properties. There will be a full review of this coming soon.

Whilst I was at the seventeen stand i spotted that they have limited edition items out at the moment. I always fancied trying one of thier lpsicks so I thought that this would be a great oppertunity to try a lipsticks from them and its limited editon! Stay Pout in the shade Rule Breaker this is a lovely dark berry plum colour perfect for this time of the year. But can we please take a moment to marvel at the packaging! it's sleek black almost matte to the touch with silver strips running across but at the top is a diomond! uber girly!

Plus, there was an offer on Seventeen cosmetics, if you brought 2 products you would get a free limited edtion Midnight Jewel Heist Eye Pallet which has a bigger false dimond on he packaging. Inside this pallet you get a bright blue colour, a light burgundt red, a champagne glittery colour and a black colour which isnt in the formulation of a typical eyeshadow, it's almost like a gel liner.

Have you tried anything from Seventeen, if you have, let me know what you love!

Top 3 Pink Lipsticks!

Hello guys,

Here are my top 3 pink lipsticks.

Collection Deluxe Lipstick | Shade Talullah 2 | £3.99

I find this to be an extremely moisturizing and comfortable lipstick. This really does feel like a much higher end lipstick as it glides along the lips effortlessly. The finish is like a satin, it isnt overly glossy nor is it a true matte lip. The shade is an everyday almost dusky pink color. One of my all time favorite lippies!

Beauty UK Lipstick | Shade Snob | £3.49

The shade of this lipstick is almose a pink/purple but more on the pinky side, does that make any sense? It's a pink with purple undertones to it! The finish of this matte, so it is slightly harder to put on but will last all day. Plus, this one smells like peppermint.

2True Glossywear Lipstick | Shade 2 | £1.99

This is a classic Barbie pink color! Not everyone's cup of tea, because it is rather bright and is a "glossywear" meaning it has tiny glitter in the lipstick to make a glossy, frosty sheen to the lips. Having said that, personally I love this lipstick. The glitters in the are so fine, you cannot feel them on your lips and the color suites super girly moods!

What are your top 3 pink lipsticks?

Lush Haul!!

Here are a few skin care bits I ordered from Lush this week. For a while now I've been wanting to change my skin care routine to only using Lush products. As I've heard so many good things about the quality and of course the amazing smells Lush products convey. So here are the items I picked up (just a quick note everything I ordered in this haul I purchased for their "skin clearing" ingredients).

Ocean Salt Alcohol Free (face and body scrub) | 120g for £7.25

I've heard so so many good reviews raving about how good this scrub is. I really want to get into exfoliating my fave and body more, especially as I want to get into self tanning products. As this will scrub away any dead skin cells and leave my face feeling clean and soft.

Grease Lightening (spot treatment) | 45g for £6.40

This product really caught my eye as this is a spot treatment (gel) that won't dry out and therefore irritate the skin surrounding your blemishes. This has Tea Tree and Witch Hazel in here known for their skin clearing properties.

Fresh Farmacy (facial soap) | 100g for £4.95

Unlike most facial cleansers this is in the form of a solid block. This has calamine powder into which gives the soap that pretty pink tone, this will help to sooth delicate red skins. Also, this has Tea Tree oil in it to keep your skin under control

Tea Tree Toner Water | 250g for £7.95

A staple to every skins care routine, toner! This one has, of course Tea Tree water inside which is antibacterial to keep skin clear. But also has Grapefruit and Juniper-berry water to invigorate and balance skin.

Enzymion Moisturizer | 45g for £14.50

After doing some research into this moisturizer, this is best for oily skins that have dry patches (like me!). The fruit enzymes in this, act almost in a pac-man type of motion, eating up all the oils that your skin produces throughout the day whilst giving it moisture. I think this product will be perfect as it will give a matt finish without making your skin look dull (as this will help brighten your skin)

What are your favorite items from Lush?

MUA | favourite Eye Shadow Pallets

Hello guys, I'm going to take this opportunity to say I wish everyone a very merry Christmas!

Okay, so now onto the blog! Here are my two favourite MUA eyeshadow pallets...

MUA Hevan and Earth

This pallet is a very wearable pallet. With it's neutral shades this makes for a perfect pallet for creating an everyday eye look.  As always the pigmentation in MUA pallets is amazing for just £4.

Eslyum Pallet

I feel like this pallet is MUA's version of the naked 3. As it has an array of pink toned hues both matte and glossy finishes. All of the shades are very bendable and can be used to create a day or night look. As this has lighter skin tone shades and dark smokey tones. Plus, this comes with a double ended eye pencil (nude/black) all for £6. I had my eye on this pallet for a while now and when I finally got it, I was so impress with how good it is!
