MUA Hual!!

Hello guys!

I have a very exciting MUA haul for you today! Which includes some of their new launches for spring/summer.

The first item I got was a lip stick in shade 11. As soon as I saw this I knew I needed it in my life. Its a browny/reddish colour that's on trend right now or better described as "Miss Jenner lips". Every time I go to buy a few bits from MUA I always come back with one of their classic lipsticks, they're my favorites and I eventually want to get every shade, I will make it my mission!

The next item I got is a Power Pout Acrylic in the shade Supreme. These are supposed to be highly pigmented, a little bit like the lip creams in the Luxe range. However, after the first swatch of this I think they are a shiny finish rather than completely velvety matte.

I also get their new Power Pout Glaze, the "Glaze" version is supposed to be on the other end of the spectrum and offer a subtle hint of colour to the lips. A good choice for a light glowy summer looks. I picked up the shade Enchant, a bright neon pink. It isn't a shade I would normally go for but seeing as this offers only subtle colour I thought why not!

The final item in this little haul is possibly my favorite and the reason I popped over to the MUA stand in the first place! It is the MUA Luxe Bronze and Sculpt Contour Kit, this little baby has to bronzing powders in a compact the first is the lighest of the two shades and is a shimmery colour perfect fro bronzing up the complexion. The second shade is a matte shade which is slightly darker than the first powder, so this is good for contouring. I love the packaging it looks and feels a lot more than £5!

So that's it for my MUA haul, let me know if you would like to see these products used in a get ready with me or review and I will be more than happy to do them.

Make up Revolution Iconic Pro 2 | Review

Hello guys!

Today I have a eyeshadow pallet to talk to you about today.... Makeup Revolution Iconic Pro 2

I have been using this pallet a lot recently and I I feel like this has natural shades but not your average natural shades. What I mean is some shades are still classed as natural but here not just your boring old taupe colours. Plus, of course there are more smokey darker shades in there to so you can create a wide range of different looks with this pallet.

The shades themselves feel very butter and creamy, they don't feel at all chalky. They are so super pigmented and even without a eye primer I still find that they hold the colour and last a long time. What's more, because these shadows are so creamy they are a dream to blend!

Overall, I'm really enjoying this pallet and I'm glad I picked it up!

Have you tried any of the iconic pro pallets? Which ones are your favourites?

Mac Studio Fix Powder NC20 Review

Hello lovelies!

Today I've got a review on the Mac Studio Fix Powder in the shade NC20. So when I first applied this powder the texture is silky and it's very finely milled. It doesn't feel chalky or throw up any lose powder. I really like he packaging of the powder, this has a mirror and sponge inside so you can top up your powder on the go if needed.

A big plus in my book is that it's long lasting! Usually a powder on me will last around 2 hours but this little beauty will last a good 4 - 4 and a half hours on me. This applies like a dream, it goes on so smooth and makes my makeup look flawless and pore less! For a powder is this quite full coverage, which I like for days when I'm needing that little bit extra coverage.

As this is a full coverage powder on normal days only a little bit is needed to create a natural look, which saves on the amount of product used. This controls oil well, I know that's the whole point of any powder but as this line lasts for a little bit longer on my skin I feel like the oil control lasts longer because of its staying power.

Have you tried the Mac Studio Fix Powder? What are your thoughts?

Whats On My Nails? | Week 10

Hello lovelies!

I haven't done a "what on my nails?" in ages (sorry!) life has just gotten in the way of those weekly blog posts but know that things have settled I should be able to get back onto this blog series. So what is on my nails?!

Well this week I have been rather lazy in the sense that I haven't painted my nails. Instead, I've stuck on a colourful pair of  Primark P.S Love... fashion false nails. These remind me of Kath Kitson print with the pale pastel colours and the floral clusters. Most of all I love how you get 24 nails two different sizes and a decent tube of glue, all for one pound!

Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation (NC20) Review

Hello Lovelies

I've had the Mac Studio Sculpt foundation for a while now and I thought I have enough thoughts to do a review of this foundation. So to start of I'm an NC20 so I wear this on days where I haven't got fake tan on, otherwise the colour wouldn't match me.

This foundation I like to wear when my skin is particularly dryer than normal and it really helps to perk my skin back up and bring some life back into my complexion. The foundation is in a tube so I just squeeze out a blob onto the back of my hand and apply this with the a sponge.

The finish is dewy but not dewy in the sense that your face looks sparkly at all it just looks naturally glowing. I would say this is a light to medium foundation. If you sheer this out and use only a tiny about the coverage can be very sheer. However, if you applied more and build this up in the placed you needed more coverage this is easily a medium coverage foundation. As I have normal to oily skin I do have to powder over the top of this to ensure that it doesn't move around half way through the day when my skin has got a little bit more shiny. But with powder it usually lasts a good 6 hours on my skins and even longer if I put a matte effect primer underneath the foundation.

Overall, this is a good value for money foundation you get 40 ml more than the average foundation and this has SPF 15 which I'm really impressed with. This is a very good everyday foundation that lasts long and makes the rest of your make up look flawless. Plus, you look healthy and glowing, perfect summer skin!

Have you tried the Mac Studio Sculpt Foundation, what are your thoughts?

Lush Creamy Candy Bubble Bar Review

Hello guys!

I've been trying out a lot of different bath products from Lush and I thought I would share my thoughts on the Creamy Candy Bubble Bar. First off I love the colour with the cute little flower on top. But, oh my the smell is just insanely good, if you love your sweet treats this is defiantly a bubble bar for you!

When I ran this under the water as the bubble bar was crumbling I found that there were little chunks of what I think is Shea butter, which adds to my next point this is a very rich, creamy, oily (in a soothing way) bubble bar. It left my skin feeling super silky and soft and that added with the smell and the mounds of bubbles made for a very pampering bath!

Sorry I don't have a photo of this one...

What are your favorite bubble bars from Lush?

Ipanema Wishlist!

Hello Lovelies

I really want to let you all know of a fabulous brand of footwear I have discovered recently. As summer's nearly in full swing I've been on the hunt for the perfect pair of flip flops, sandles or wedges. I want my feet to be comfy but to also look stylish strutting along the beach.

So this is where http://www.ipanema.uk.com/ come into play!

http://www.ipanema.uk.com/ is one of Brazil's most popular flipflop brands and I can totally see why as their pieces are adorable. They do women's, men's and kids flipflop so the whole family can be kitted out in new summer footwear ready for that big summer holiday!

So whats on my wishlist?

Pretty Bow - In Light Blue

I LOVE this pair of flip flops, the floral patterns and the cute little bow are definitely very me! I would choose these in light blue, in my opinion light blue is a very spring/summer colour and it would go perfectly with some white jeans.

Gatsby

The Gatsby are summer chic, very stylish and could be dressed up or down, perfect for going from
the beach to an fancy dinner out. As you can see I have a thing for bows...

Jewel II

Now I can't go all summer without a pair of pink flipflops, I just can't...
And these ones in particular are really catching my eye with the cluster of pink and sliver jewels encrusted on the stop strap, LOVE THEM!

Bella Platform

These are like a wedge type of sandle, these are a little bit more "dressy" and the detailing on the top straps reminded me of a roman goddess.

Festival Sandle

These are more of a structured sandle with more strap support than the other sandles I've listed. These have the same greek goddess like pattern on the front strap like the Bella Platfroms. These would be perfect for the laid-back, boho look.

All in all, the structure of these shoes look comfy as they seem to be molded to the curves of your feet and they are so super cute! My favorites have got to be the first pair of flipflops I mentioned, the Pretty Bow - In Light Blue.

*All of the pictures used in this blog post are not my own and are taken from the Ipanema website.

What are your favorite items from http://www.ipanema.uk.com/ ?

My (little) Pamper Night!

Hello lovelies!

I love having a pamper it makes me feel so good and gives my confidence a real boost!

So what magical products do I use? Well, I don't use any expensive or high end products just good quality affordable products, that work!

To start off I have a shower then I put the the Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel with active charcoal on to my skin and leave it for about 15 minuets until the face mask is completely dry. I love washing this off, it reveals such a healthy clear complexion.

Once the face mask is doing its thing, I put some fake tan on I'm using two gradual self tanners at the moment Sun kissed in Light and Dove Summer Glow for light to medium skin tones. I really like using lotion gradual tanners as they act like a moisturizer as they have vitamin E, Shea Butter and Aloe Vera in the lotion. Plus they give you a very natural tan so you don't end up looking orange.

To end the little pamper routine I'll give my nails a lick of colour, I'm really into red nails at the moment I fee like they're such a classic!

Beauty Haul

Hello guys!

I'm back again with a beauty haul! I love collecting little makeup bits I see in shops, I love it but unfortunately my purse doesn't like it so much (hehe!). So on to the hual...what goodies did I get?

L'oreal Colour Riche Nail Polish 403 Femme Fatale

I was instantly drawn to this deep vintage red, I have a thing for red shades, they're such a classic.

Rimmel London Show Off Lip Lacquer 200 Comet

Now, I've been very late to the party with these! Comet is my first shade of this lip lacquer but after swatching this shade on the back of my hand I know it won't be my last.

Witch Anti Blemish Tinted Moisturizer

Okay, so if you have noticed with my skin care picks and BB cream choices you'll have noticed that I have somewhat troublesome skin...

I've never tried a tinted moisturizer before so when I spotted this I thought it would be worth a try and it would be perfect for the summer when I don't want to feel like I'm wearing heavy makeup.

Tea Tree & Peppermint Deep Moisturizing Foot Pack

As sandle season is upon us, our footsies will be making more of an appearance so in order to keep my feet in tip top condition I picked up this foot pack. This looks an interesting little product, there are two sock like items that I presume are covered in the "foot moisturizing stuff",

I'll be doing a review on all of the items mentioned in this haul so keep an eye out for those posts in the next couple of weeks!
